The very surreal and anarchic adventures featured in "The Young Ones" bought a whole new type of comedy to TV in the early 80s. Bizarre plots, 'comic asides' and 'musical interludes' were all included in the mad, rude, very violent, unpredictable and deliberately infantile world which was "The Young Ones". Its alternative and aggressive style of comedy has certainly left a mark, like many other classics only a few episodes were ever made of this sitcom, yet everyone has heard about it! Everyone should watch "The Young Ones" even if they are just doing it to star spot, many (if not most) of British comedy's finest stars made a cameo appearance in the show. Watch.
