BSG Presents - The Sketch Project
As you've no doubt experienced, it can be difficult for amateur British comedy writers to get their foot on the production ladder. We hope this project will provide our regular forum members with a chance to showcase their work, get it filmed, and ultimately work together to create a package that can be presented to production companies or broadcasters. If you're reading this, you probably know what it's all about anyway! Register below. Each contributor will be able to submit three sketches, each of which should be no longer than 1mins, 30secs. Once all submissions are in each sketch will be voted for by fellow contributors. The best sketches will be put together to form a pilot script. If your sketch doesn't quite hit the mark, don't worry. These sketches will be moved to a critique section where those involved will be able to voice their opinions on why they think a particular sketch doesn't work, and where they think it can be improved. There then will then be an opportunity to re-submit. The final decision lies with writer though, so if you don't want to change the sketch at all you don't have to. It's down to you. This project is being organised by a committee of five BSG members. If you have any questions about the project please post in the dedicated Forum for the Sketch Project - the committee will be on hand there to answer your queries. At this stage we're just looking to get all the interested parties registered - please sign up below.
