SERIES 1 - First broadcast 2004

1. Monday

Howard prepares to visit his fiancee Mel's parents but first he is pitched into a surprise drinks party by his colleagues.

2. Tuesday

It's Tuesday and things are still a bit tricky for Howard. He meets his dad's new girlfriend and has to go to unusual lengths to ensure the safety of the wedding ring.

3. Wednesday

It's midweek and things are still hectic for Howard and Mel. Today sees Howard meet up with an old flame, attend a funeral and sort out his future sister-in-law's love life.

4. Thursday

The days until Howard and Mel's big day are ticking by. Today there's a problem with some printing, and Howard and Mel arrive at their stag and hen parties. Unsurprisingly Howard's turns out to be a disaster with the best man almost drowning and Howard being arrested.

5. Friday

It's the eve of the big day and Howard and Mel have their wedding rehearsal, followed by a big family dinner. Meanwhile Howard has the problem of trying to get the wedding ring off the finger of his best man (who is still in hospital).

6. Saturday

The big day finally dawns and it looks set to be one that Howard and Mel will never forget. Granny is in hospital, Mel does a runner and Howard comes within a whisker of marrying his barking mad stalker Cassie.

7. Sunday

Howard's efforts to find Mel are at first thwarted by his hostile almost-father-inlaw and the antics of his useless best man. When he does at last discover the whereabouts of his future wife, his problems are far from over in the last episode of this excellent series.
