| BSG Review: |
The first series of this sitcom was scheduled to appear on
prime-time BBC1; it didn't stand a chance. It collected a critical
mauling - whilst it wasn't a great show the reaction was probably
a little harsh. "Wild West" had some very black humour
and dark characters so was never meant to appeal to the masses
- it's definitely one of those you either love or hate. If you
take time to watch a few episodes from series 2 you might find
you actually start liking this sitcom and the characters within in (especially PC
Alan), we certainly did. |
| Notes: |
The village of St Gweep is actually the real village of Portloe
in Cornwall where most of this sitcom was filmed. |
