Writers Directory Profile:
I'm a member of Edge of London Writers in Carshalton, Surrey. In the past I did loads of lyrics with a musician. Nothing published although we completed a musical called "Porcupine" but to date has not been performed. Anyone want to stage it?
I sent an entry to the last "Last Laugh" competition to complete a sit-com and am currently awaiting a response from the BBC for a radio sketch show written with Gary Cox and A N Other.
I love Green Wing, League of Gentlemen, Royle Family from recent times (doesn't mean my stuff is anything like this though) and Likely Lads, Reginald Perrin amonst many others from the past. My favourite author is Leslie Thomas (Virgin Soldiers, Dangerous Davies, Tropic of Ruislip etc).
I wrote a sit-com - sent first episode to the BBC but unfortunately rejected. Subject is a pair of middle-aged failed songwriters - they say write what you know. Currently thinking of other markets for it. View Entire Directory Entry
