Two Pints of Lager and a Packet of Crisps TWO PINTS

Series 1 (2001)

Series 1 2001 saw the very first series of 'Two Pints of Lager and a Packet of Crisps' hit our screens. The characters and cast are introduced and it doesn't take long for the bad behaviour to begin. The series ends on a cliff hanger - what does Donna have to tell Gaz?

Series 2 (2002)

Series 2 The second series follows on from the first with pregnancy scares, ex-boyfriends popping up, sex demands and marriage proposals.

The course of love doesn't run smooth - it isn't long before potential breakups are on the cards.

Series 3 (2003)

Series 3 With the second series making a bit of a splash the BBC commissioned this longer ten episode third series and greenlit the introduction of two new characters, David and Munch.

Cue more fun and problems for the group of friends, oh and some bondage!

Series 4 (2004)

Series 4 2004 was a real hit year for this sitcom and it started off with a smashing musical special in which the story of how Jonny and Janet first met was told via surreal musical numbers.

Eight further episodes of heartbreak and snogging followed

Series 5 (2005)

Series 5 Series five is a huge fourteen episodes long. It started on a real cliff-hanger, had Jonny survived the police SWAT team? Initially it looked like he is dead as the first episode starts with a funeral - thankfully it turns out he is alive though (thanks to viewers texting in and voting to save him). All is not well though as it turns out the funeral is for Flo. Things soon cheer up with the arrival of baby Corinthian and a wedding

Series 6 (2006)

Series 6 In the 2006 series Gaz and Jonny have some particularly tricky questions to answer: Which one of them is really father to Janet's little boy? Will Janet actually cast them adrift and take a job-of-a-lifetime aboard a cruise ship? And would pork scratchings really beat mini cheddars in the World Cup final of bar snacks? And if that wasn't excitement enough, Louise uncovers shocking revelations about her parentage.

Series 7 (2008)

Series 7 The new series kicked off with an episode broadcast live from BBC Television Centre. When the Archer pub reopens after its refurb, Louise, Janet and Donna compete against each other for the job of barmaid. It soon becomes apparent that Jonny (Ralf Little) has left the comedy as episode two sees the pals attend his funeral and Janet trying to get through the five stages of grief as quickly as possible.

Series 8 (2009)

Two Pints will return in 2009 for another series
