Swiss, his head salesman and right-hand man, Geoff, is seeing
his estranged wife, Ruth, behind his back.

at the chance. The event is not a great success, however,
and when, at the end of the evening, Swiss finds himself without
a partner he drunkenly offers to take everyone back to his

Gellward
While Geoff has been away on holiday the showroom has experienced
one of its best months ever, and it's all down to one
customer - Peter Gellward - who has bought several new cars.
But why? What has been drawing him to the showroom? Paul,
Swiss and Miranda all have their own theories and we see the
same events from their different viewpoints as each character
tells their story. But what is the truth, and why has Gellward
kept on coming back? Is he in love with Miranda, in awe of
Swiss Toni, mesmerised by Paul's new sales techniques,
or what? It's only at the end that we find out the truth.

cable TV. Sasha has only come to the showroom to check out
Swiss and see if he is as extraordinary as Miranda has made
out. She's in luck - Swiss is even more ridiculous than she
expected and she seduces him into agreeing to host a talk
show for Men and Motors. Sasha thinks she might have discovered
the new David Dickinson or Peter Andre and her plan is to
make a fool of Swiss on live TV. Swiss is blind, however,
and thinks he is finally going to get the chance to share
his views on the world with an adoring public.

Swiss is trying out yet another doomed promotion, and this
time he's hired a robot, Fothergill 2000, to attract
customers. Fothergill is controlled by a nerdy obsessive,
Bric-A-Brac Leonard, and, like all of Swiss's ideas,
is totally useless.
When an unhinged customer, Terry, comes in to try and retrieve
a beloved car maliciously sold to the showroom by his estranged
wife, Swiss loses control and ends up being taken hostage.
There's nothing anyone can do, however, as Geoff has taken
Ruth out in the car for a romantic tryst. While everyone waits
for Geoff's return, things go from bad to worse in the showroom
and Terry becomes more and more unstable.
