After their grown-up children have left home, Terry and June Fletcher find themselves sharing their home with Aunt Lucy and her mynah bird - a far from ideal living arrangement.
Terry's stubborn nature and ill-thought out ideas often led to trouble, with June having to pick up the pieces. |

After four series, one of the writers, John Chapman, decided that the show had run its course. The BBC, however, had other ideas.
Unfortunately, legal issues arose over the matter, and in order to avoid further complications, the BBC altered the format slightly, renaming the show simply 'Terry and June'.
