BSG Review:

Somewhat mediocre but enjoyable all the same, Don't Wait Up had a weak (but concurrently strangely stable) basic storyline.

Comprising of the classic two-men-in-a-room, class-clash and father-son comedy formulae, the show was an unlikely hit, running on BBC One for an impressive six series and spanning 8 years.

Oddly compelling and comforting, one should not expect to see anything groundbreaking or hugely original in Don't Wait Up, but it is certainly funny and entertaining enough to watch and enjoy without too much thought.

Notes:

Don't Wait Up was repeated in early 2006 by ITV3.
