| Synopsis: |
Dad explores father-son relationships in Brian, who drifted apart from his grown-up son Alan years ago, and Brian's own son, Vincent. Brian is forced to move in with Alan and his family as he becomes increasingly unwell in his old age. Alan sees this as an opportunity to connect with his father before it is too late, despite their very differing views, habits, morals and so on. At the same time, Vincent is equally distant from Alan.

| BSG Review: |
Although not especially successful (perhaps due to its time slot more than anything else), Dad was an interesting, highly amusing programme to watch, and the on-screen chemistry between Kevin McNally and George Cole as Alan and Brian complemented the exploratory scripts well.
