Saucy, but not vulgarly so, the Carry On Christmas specials were a slightly toned-down, more family oriented take on well-known Christmas stories, retold in a quintessentially Carry On manner. Not too dirty or clichéd, just nudge nudge wink wink family comedy.
If you like the Carry On films, you'll love them.
