About sisters Rose and Lana who live next door to one another
in north London, with their respective husbands Gerald Garveys
and Harry Butts. Gerald is an underpaid junior executive while
Harry is a high-earning factory worker, thus while the Garveys
struggle to make ends meet the Butts enjoy the good life.
The Garveys try and give their neighbours the appearance that
they are doing quite well when in fact they are doing quite
the opposite.

| BSG Review: |
The "Keeping-Up-With-The-Joneses"
idea behind the show (much like that in "Keeping
up Appearances"), with the added twist of the neighbours
being related, worked well. |
