Peter Bonamy has a heart attack and goes into hospital. He leaves to resume life with a greater degree of care and attends the "Heart-Attack Survivors' Group". Unable yet to return to driving his Porsche, or to resume working for his own building company, Bonamy is stuck with his wife Jane and 13-year-old daughter Rosemary and twiddles his thumbs whilst his finances dwindle away.
