| BSG Review: |
The acting in this sitcom is excellent (especially Leonard
Rossiter who puts in outstanding performance as the terrible
landlord) thus helping to make this an above average sitcom.
The scripts varied but when they were good they were very good.
At the time of making "Rising Damp" Rossiter was also
starring in "Reginald
Perrin" and Beckinsale in "Porridge"
thus keeping the pair very busy! A repeat showing of this sitcom
must be due soon and it will, as ever, receive rave reviews. |
