| BSG Review: |
How could anybody find a pickle factory funny? Well, we defy anybody to
watch 'Nearest and Dearest' and not laugh. Pure, simple northern
comedy at its very best. It may seem outdated alongside some
of today's sophisticated sitcoms, but it still rates highly on
many people's favourite lists.

| Notes: |
This sitcom spawned the 1970 Nearest And Dearest stage show and a feature film - "Nearest And Dearest (1972)".
This sitcom was also re-made in 1973 by ABC in the US as "Thicker Than Water". |
