Synopsis:

Surreal sitcom following the adventures of Vince Noir and Howard Moon. Vince and Howard are Zoo Keepers who work in the dysfunctional 'Zooniverse' along with the disturbing Dixon Bainbridge, Bob Fossil and Mrs. Gideon.

In the latest third series the action shifts to Naboo's second hand shop in Dalston. Needless to say they don't get much work done. This doesn't bother Naboo too much, firstly as the shop is really only a cover for his shady interplanetary Shaman business and secondly, he's usually quite chilled out from sampling his own magical herbs and remedies.

BSG Review:

The only word to describe this cult sitcom is 'weird'. It is totally bizarre. You'll either 'get it', in which case you'll no doubt be hooked on the Boosh's inventive world or alternatively, if surreal isn't your cup of tea, you'll be leaping for the off switch.

We have to admit we're on the "don't get what the fuss is about" side of the fence. Being wacky and quoting odd words isn't big or clever. Noel Fielding is annoyingly over-the-top, and the frequent occurrences where the stars have given one of their mates a cameo appearance is just annoying (mainly because they can't act - particularly Michael Fielding who can be out-acted by a five year old!). Julian Barratt's dead pan delivery is this show's one saving grace in our opinion.

Ignore us though, the big question is whether or not the heavy promotion latest series was a good or bad move for the Boosh. Some thought it was their best work yet, but the majority of Boosh fans, whilst they still enjoyed it, have said they thought it was the least funny of the three series.

It would appear that dragging this comedy towards a mainstream arena has started to damage it. We will have to wait and see if the, we guess inevitable, 4th series will bounce this show back.
