| Synopsis: |
"Keeping up Appearances" is all about suburban
snob Hyacinth Bucket (pronounced 'Bouquet'), a one whom devotes
her time to monitoring 'standards' and attempting to impress
'influential' people. Her hen pecked husband, Richard, keeps
his head down and does his best to put up with her. |

The Hyachinth Bouquet character has become
a firm sitcom favourite thanks to her strong personality. It
is Patricia Routledge who carries this sitcom which is packed
full of excellent comedy moments and well deserves the accolade
of being named the 12th Best British Sitcom of all time in a
2004 TV poll. |
