| Synopsis: |
The IT Crowd centres on Roy, Moss and Jen. They make up the I.T. department of Reynholm Industries. However, while their social betters work upstairs in fantastic surroundings, Roy, Moss and Jen work in a horrible dark basement underneath it all. Jen knows nothing about computers whilst Roy and Moss are total geeks.
The second series continues on from where the last left off (with Richmond the goth remaining in the department), but there is one big change - Douglas Reynholm, son of Denholm, has taken over being the boss of Reynholm industries.

| BSG Review: |
The IT Crowd comes from Graham Linehan, the writer of Father Ted and Black Books and from Ash Atalla whose previous production credits include award-winning The Office. With this sort of pedigree this comedy has a lot to live up to.
Whether it delivers or not is very much up for debate. The IT Crowd seems to have split viewers down the middle - some think it is badly written rubbish, others love it. A second watch has converted many a viewer from an apathetic disinterested soul into a hardcore fan so, if you think you can buy into the deliberate daftness, do give the show a chance!
We're now looking forward to the third series which Graham Linehan will be writing when he is back in the UK. |
