Edith Fuddle has nine months to live - her dying wish is to see her family together for one last time. She therefore charges her dopey grandson Guy with the task of tracking down and reuniting his four lost sisters: Madeline, Roxanne, Joyce and
Cassie.

A funny, slightly off-the-wall sitcom from Ben Elton. Happy Families didn't seem much of a sitcom, more a comedy
serial. Even though it only ran for one series it was still
entertaining. It is notable for the fact Jennifer Saunders played most of the lead roles and its impressive list of cameo appearances.
