1. Away From it All
Margo and Jerry suggest that Barbara and Tom take a break from their self-sufficient lives and go and stay at a Mayfair flat, which belongs to friends of Jerry's, for the weekend. They leave the Leadbetters to look after the animals, but panic and run home when they fear that Geraldine the goat may be ill.

2. The Green Door
Believing that Margo goes horse riding two times a week, the Goods are surprised to be told that she doesn't go there anymore when they visit the stables. When walking the goat in town, they see Margo going into a flat with a green door and assume that she is having an affair and lying to Jerry about still going horse riding. Of course, the real explanation is that she's been going to a ‘Weight Watching' class.

3. Our Speaker Today
Margo asks Barbara if she would give a talk about self-sufficiency at a local women's group, and she proves to be very interesting. Unfortunately, when the demand for her to give talks all over the place, the workload becomes too much.

4. The Weaver's Tale
After being left with £10 in the kitty, the Goods are pleased to have some money, but when Tom goes and spends it on a loom without consulting Barbara, she is not pleased.

5. Suit Yourself
Now that the Goods have their own loom, they decide to make their own clothes on it. Meanwhile, Jerry is battling his way towards becoming JJM's new managing director by going to dinner with his boss and two other potential candidates for the job.

6. Sweet and Sour Charity
Margo is displeased when she learns that the next music society production is likely to be “Sweet Charity” when she wants them to do “The Merry Widow.” Tom and Barbara are trying to decide whether or not to steal the remaining oil in next-door's oil tank so they can swap it for some straw for their pigs. They eventually decide to ring the neighbour who used to live there, Mrs Weaver, and get her permission to do so. When they do go to siphon it off, however, they find that the tank has sprung a leak and has actually leaked into their soil.

7. Anniversary
It's Tom's birthday which means it's also the anniversary of the day when the Goods thought up their self-sufficiency idea. Jerry is delighted to learn that he has been chosen to be the new managing director at JJM. Whilst celebrating with Margo and Jerry, Tom and Barbara are shocked and devastated to return to their house to find that it's been burgled and trashed. They make a toast with the Leadbetters, however, to the Goods' strength and their ability to pick themselves up again.

Special : Silly, But It's Fun
The Goods are getting ready for their self-sufficient Christmas, while Margo is waiting for their Christmas goods to be delivered. When they don't, she announces that Christmas is cancelled. Barbara and Tom invite them round to theirs and they end up having a brilliant time their way.

Special : When I'm 65
Margo and Jerry go on a health spree when Jerry learns that he's not in tiptop condition for his age. Tom is worried that him and Barbara have nothing set aside to help them when they become old. He takes a visit to the bank to try and set up a deal with his bank manager about a pension scheme, but realises it's not exactly well thought through.
Tom and Jerry go head to head for a bet to see who is the fittest by running a race around Serbiton.
