| Synopsis: |
The grumpy, accident prone Victor Meldrew takes
early retirement and finds he has far too much time on his hands.
His long suffering wife and neighbours just have to grin and
bear it. In the final poignant episode Victor is knocked over
by a car and killed.

"One Foot in the Grave" is great
fun to watch because it reminds us that life isn't that bad
after all. All the cast are exceptional, especially
Richard Wilson as grumpy Victor Meldrew, the pensioner who sounds off
about life. Voted the
"10th
Best British Sitcom Ever" this show certainly deserves such a recognition.
