Tony
played by Billy Boyd

Tony (Billy Boyd) Tony, the younger of the two property maintenance lads, has an unhappy home life. His marriage is collapsing and he feels he hasn't got what he deserves out of life.

Tony's intellect, which he feels is essentially worthless in the world he inhabits, is given the chance to breathe when he is with Jacky.

Tony likes miming along to show tunes - something which Jacky enjoys providing the backing sounds to.

Tony is played by Billy Boyd, best known for playing Pippin in the blockbuster film trilogy Lord of the Rings.

Jacky
played by Gregor Fisher

Jacky (Gregor Fisher) Jacky a gifted, intelligent man but all through his life he has chosen the path of least resistance. He has opted out of education and opportunity, happy to lose himself in his books and his thoughts whilst working away at a job that allows him to live a life of the mind.

To make the day go quickly Jacky enjoys playing games with Tony. For example, he gets his colleague to try and guess what they will find behind each door in the flat they are clearing out.

Jacky is played by sitcom veteran Gregor Fisher, probably best known to audiences playing the role of Rab C. Nesbitt.
