Just starting out, sort of, working on a draft sit com script

Hi I'm Kevin, an unemployed archaeologist and ex psychiatric nurse. I'm 42, and live with my Partner in Glasgow with two grown up children.
I have been doing stand up, occasionally for quite a few years now. By occasionally I mean once or twice a year, it's fun but I don't know if that's what I really want to do, I'd lie to do some sketches preferably rather than straight stand up. My influences are mostly British, I can go back to the Goons, who are a great favourite, Python, of course, up to Stand ups like Bill Hicks; the greatest, Connelly, Eddie Izzard, Dylan Moran and many others. I love Radio Comedy like The News Quiz, I'm Sorry I Haven't A Clue, The Goons, The Now Show, Punt and Dennis, I love Marcus Brigstock's work on BBC4, Have I Got News for You, etc... there's never too much satire.
I love to write, especially but not exclusively comedy, I've writen two books; one a comedy, a play, loads of sketches and shorts and joke ideas and stand up stuff and I work a lot at new stuff. I write a lot of varied stuff. I'd love to collaborate, for the fun of it as well as the improved material. I'd like to get my books published, get some sketch or joke work but I'd also like to do some performing, not just stand up.
