Hi I'm Dan Always been interested in writing and found an evening comedy sketch writing course/group running in Richmond. It lasted all year and we wrote sketches and sitcoms and had them acted out by a college's drama groups. I wrote a comedy play at university and put it on at the local assembly rooms. But it wasn't until a year after I graduated that I realised maybe I could use my writing skills to get the kind of job satisfaction I craved. I've just finished writing the first two episodes of a sitcom, a parody of the murder mystery TV genre, making fun of the likes of Midsomer Murders. Beyond the neat hedgerows of the countryside is a warped world where people are being killed by sit-on lawnmowers and are practicing witchcraft.
