| BSG Review: |
The first series of this sitcom wasn't seen by many and was critically mauled by the press, the BBC gave it a second chance and used new writers for series 2. The reason for this change in staff is that Ian Pattison, a white Scotsman, was chosen to pen the
scripts for the first series which attracted a lot of criticism
from the press.
The Crouches is the first black BBC sitcom and a great showcase
for some new talent however it is lacking that vital ingredient - consistently funny scripts. |
