The ladies of Little Stempington are back! Suburban Shootout - Series 2 the award-winning black comedy series from Channel Five and Paramount is available to own on DVD from Monday 25th February 2008 courtesy of 4DVD.
Picking up where the first series left off, the competing gun-toting gangs of vigilante housewives, led by Camilla Diamond (Anna Chancellor) and the other by Barbara Du Prez (Felicity Montagu), continue their work - one for the good of the themselves the other for the good of the town.
Set in the quintessentially British town of Little Stempington, Suburban Shootout features an exhilarating mix of ladies only fight clubs, a super casino, Belarusian ballet male escorts, intimidation, blackmail, shootouts and much, much more.
While imprisoned after being framed by Camilla, Barbara has handed the reins of gang boss over to Joyce Hazeldine (Amelia Bullmore) and entrusted her with the task of keeping the streets free of crime. However, Camilla has different ideas and takes full advantage of Barbara's unfortunate predicament by starting up a highly lucrative ladies only Fight Club. Who will win control of the sleepy town?
