Peep Show follows the private world of Mark (Mitchell) and Jeremy (Webb), two twenty-something flat-mates living in south London. Mark is the sensible one - a professional brogue wearer with a slightly worrying interest in World War Two. Jeremy is the loose cannon - a lazy waster with dodgy friends - who dreams of becoming a musician but can never get his act together, or up in the morning.
In the fourth series, as ever, their deepest, darkest thoughts and feelings were revealed as they un-successfully continued to try in vain to find their place in the modern world and to find love and fulfilment. Having proposed by accident to Sophie (Olivia Colman), Mark faces the horror of having to actually go through with the wedding and when Jeremy's beautiful ex 'visa wife', Nancy (Rachel Blanchard) unexpectedly turns up again, how far will Jez go to win her back?
