To celebrate the launch of a new BBC website offering thousands of audio downloads, we've got some copies of That Mitchell and Webb Sound to giveaway.
David Mitchell and Robert Webb's award-winning BBC Radio 4 comedy show is a real favourite of ours - and just one of the many programmes available to download from BBC Audio Zone.
If you haven't heard it before, That Mitchell and Webb Sound is a clever and witty audio sketch series that reveals the Peep Show duo's distinctive and lopsided view of the world. The sketches include the brave and dangerous work of Hairdressers Sans Frontiers and the tragic consequences when a stray piece of ham goes unchecked. You can also meet soporific late-night DJ Adrian Locket; Peter and Ted, commentators who reveal the murky underside of the snooker world; crime fighter Angel Summoner and his redundant sidekick BMX Bandit; and, our favourite, the obnoxious incredibly posh person who is still unaccountably a waiter.
That Mitchell and Webb Sound is just one of the many comedies now available to download via www.bbcaudiozone.com. This new BBC mini site runs through the digital retailer Audible and has over 1,400 BBC Audiobook titles available to sample and download. The service features a huge range of comedy titles including The Mighty Boosh, Little Britain, Blackadder, Fawlty Towers, The Fast Show, Ross Noble and Have I Got News for You. Well worth checking out.
