Win "Green Wing: The Original Television Soundtrack" CDs

Green Wing Music Soundtrack On the 8th of October Silva Screen Records released Green Wing - The Original Television Soundtrack!

The CD contains 23 original tracks from the show which fans of the hit hospital comedy will instantly recognise - from the rousing opening overture that is played in as last week's highlights are shown, to that memorable little twang that was played over many a classic GW scene (like Alan pratting about in the corridors with his coat) - all the classic Green Wing sounds all here.

The music is by Trellis, the name that the well-known TV comedy composer Jonathan Whitehead writes and records under. Whitehead's music features in many of the cutting-edge comedies of the last few years including The Day Today, Smack The Pony, Brass Eye, Black Books, I'm Alan Partridge and Nathan Barley.

In 2005 Jonathan Whitehead won the Royal Television Society award for Best Music Original Score and was nominated for a BAFTA Award in the same year for Best Original Television Music for his work on this Green Wing soundtrack. Highly original, very different and very memorable this eclectic electronic score is well worth picking up.
