| Synopsis: |
A comedy series which follows the story of Carl and his brother Chris, whom he has
not seen in 15 years. Carl returns from the army to try and
find his estranged son who he parted with 20 years ago. On
their way to Catterick the brothers are followed by a psychotic
murderer, two policemen and a hotel proprietor who is short
of a vital body part. They are joined on their journey by Mark a
hotel employee and Tess, the Hotel Proprietor's girlfriend.

Dark and weird with a strong soap-like plot this series attracted a cult following however
for the majority Vic and Bob's series was just not very funny. Despite the all-star cast the programme embarrassingly achieved poor ratings for the BBC - both on BBC3 and BBC2 - and so has not returned.
