Buying Guide for US Residents - How and Where to Buy British ComedyThis is a guide for Where Can I Buy British Sitcom Videos, DVDs and Books?We recommend Amazon.com - they have the widest range of British sitcoms on the web outside of the UK. They are very reliable and provide more information about their products than most. To find videos, DVDs and books on Amazon.com just enter the sitcom you are after in the box below... There are of course many other American stores online which you could buy from instead - see our list If you can't find what you're looking for on any US website then please read on, as it may be available to import from the UK... Buying From The UKObviously not all British sitcoms have been released in America / Canada as demand isn't going to be particularly high for some of our more obscure sitcoms. Many more British series are available on DVD and Video from the UK. Very Important Note: The videos and DVDs for sale in the UK are a different format from those in America. The DVDs are mostly Region 2 and the videos VHS PAL. You are unlikely to be able to play these unless you have a multi-region DVD player - please check before importing any merchandise. Note: don't forget some sitcoms have a different name in the UK. For example "Thermoman" is "My Hero" and "Good Neighbors" is "The Good Life". Our guides normally point out any differences. I Still Can't Find The Merchandise I'm Looking For...If you can't find what you're looking for on Amazon.com or Amazon.co.uk it's likely that the merchandise you are trying to buy hasn't been released yet. That doesn't necessarily mean you can't get hold of a copy of the comedy though.
