I'm Alan Partridge - Series 2 - First broadcast 2002
|
 |
1. The Talented Mr Alan
Alan, now 47, is making a comeback. He's got the late-night
slot on Radio Norwich and is hosting a military gameshow on
cable TV called Skirmish. He is living in a "luxury static
home" (caravan) on a building site and has a Ukrainian
girlfriend called Sonja, who is 14 years younger than him.
Loyal Lynne is still his PA while Jordie Michael is now working
at the local petrol station.

 |
2. The Colour Of Alan
After a book signing in Norwich Railway Station, Alan attempts
to climb over the fence at the Choristers club after forgetting
his security pass. He pierces his foot on the railings, however
despite losing about a pint of blood he still makes it to
a conference he was meant to be speaking at.

 |
3. Brave Alan
Alan meets Kitchen shop owner Dan Moody at the petrol station.
Alan and Dan both love Directors Bitter, use Lynx deodorant
and drive a Lexus car. Through Dan, Alan is introduced to
the elite of Norfolk; specifically Mike Yapley, owner of Car
Supermarket on the A47 and Karen Colman of mustard fame.

Never Say Alan Again
Alan is planning to watch every James Bond film back to back
at the weekend but doesn't invite Micahel when he realises
he has other friends, instead he invites John the builder.
Lynn introduces her new boyfriend, ex-copper Gordon. He orders
Alan to treat his PA with a good deal more consideration and
so Alan is forced to give Lynn a pay rise.

5. I Know What Alan Did Last Summer
The Inland Revenue turn up to investigate Alan's finances.
That isn't his only problem though as girlfriend Sonja keeps
buying him Beefeater Bears, toy London cabs, toy buses, even
a Marble Arch cake. Things go really bad when Sonja insists
on meeting Alan's 'old friend' Bono from U2.

6. Alan Wide Shut
Despite his new house being ready to move in to, Alan is
on edge. 14,000 surplus copies of his book "Bouncing
Back" are to be pulped and he's very sensitive about
it. Lynn is baptised at Sprowston Baptist Church and Alan
makes a rather ill-judged speech which involves miming a suicide
by shotgun. The series ends with 14,000 copies of Alan's book
being pulped.
