The Second World War adventures of the Royal Artillery Concert
Party. Led by Sgt. Major Williams, the company entertain the
troops in India and then Burma.
The experienced Sergeant is highly aggrieved that he has
been put in charge of, as he put it, 'a bunch of pooftahs'.
The motley group who constantly faced Williams' wrath included
Gunners 'Lofty' Sugden, Parkin, 'Gloria' Beaumont and Graham.
The group are overseen by Colonel Reynolds and his assistant,
Captain Ashwood.
